If you're looking at this place thinking it's too far away, it's not. So worth the drive.
Terrible service and experience. I was seated at one of the outdoor tables. The area was swarming with yellow jackets, yet the staff was still seating people. I ordered a salad and figured if they weren't worried, I won't worry. Half way through my salad I was stung twice on the leg. When I went inside and told my server she called a manager. He did not seem to care, did not offer ice or ask if he could help in any way. did not even ask me if I wanted to sit down. I was visibly in pain. I had been stung twice. I had to ask for ice, and as I was applying it to my leg, I was asked to pay for the bill NOW. I only had a chance to eat half my salad, had to pay for the entire meal, and was treated poorly. If you are having an issue with yellow jackets, don't seat people in that area, and if you do and they get stung, you are to blame. Never go back there again. Manager and staff need to be re-trained. Went here with friends during the middle of the week. It was great because not many people were there and you can choose any seat you like. Outside there is lots of seating and nice views and great atmosphere. I did not actually get beer so I can't speak to that, but I can speak to the food which was not very good. I got a mushroom burger which was not tasty. The fries were too deep fried as well, tasted like carnival fries. They did have gluten-free options so that was nice for my wife, but she said the flavor was bland. I would say it is a nice place with views and you can bring your pets but not the best food. I'd give it a 2 for food but a 4 for atmosphere.
Great service, breathtaking views but mediocre food.
Super tasty beer with exceptional good in a fantastic setting. This is hands down one of the best breweries I've ever been to. Friendly service, enough variety to please everyone.
The location of the place is truly amazing. There are gorgeous views. You can admire beautiful mountains, it's very green, and nice!
My husband & I have been here many times, & the food/beer is always consistently good. The views are gorgeous! I definitely recommend sitting on the patio & make sure you bring a growler as you can get an $8 fill on some beers. The only reason I don't give them a 5* is the service isn't always stellar. Some of the waiters/waitresses are nicer than others...just depends on who you get.
On a positive side, the servers were attentive and caring. To my surprise, there were very few non-alcoholic non-sugary drinks (such as unsweetened iced-tea). However, the servers stood up to the challenge, and they brought those drinks for me.
Now, this review comes with a caveat as I was part of the larger group that dined at the Blue Mountain Brewery. The quality of food was rather upsetting from the beginning. The appetizers were cold (though they were supposed to be served hot), the crab soup was severely under-seasoned, the braised pork marinated in tomatillo glaze cold and inedible, cheesecake tasted like an old shoe. I really cannot find anything positive about the quality of food at this place.
