The bedrooms are large, ours is missing remote for t.v. room #4.
Do not make reservations here. We did. We made them directly, not through any third party. They cancelled our reservation and did not tell us. And then they lied to my mother-in-law saying that they emailed us. They did not. Has they sent an email it would not have been sufficient for cancelling a confirmed reservation at the last minute. But we reviewed all email and phone messages and there was no contact. We moved over to the Acorn Inn which we recommend for the kindness of the hosts.
Hallway carpet and walls need cleaning.
No maid service between day 1 and day 2. Therefore, beds not made, towels not refreshed, garbage not emptied. One coffee filter/bag for 4 adults for two days. Never met the innkeeper or any employee. Had to call the innkeeper from the parking lot to find out how to check in.
And the Inn is next to main road that's quite busy.
Seventeen of us gathered for a long weekend family reunion. The inn could use a carpet cleaning and some touch up work here and there, but it suited our needs quite well. We were able to enjoy the two separate indoor seating areas, as well as the large deck on the front of the building. The two kitchen areas and ample dining space worked well for our evening meals together, and the location allowed everyone to explore local sites, festivals, and vineyards during the day. Nearly every one of my family members commented that, despite a few cosmetic issues, the facility accommodated our needs very nicely and made for an extremely enjoyable weekend together. The available gathering space, the scenery, and the local attractions were effective counters to the minor maintenance and cleanliness issues.
Laundry area is used for storage.

Room was very nice, looks like it was recently renovated. We had a booking issue as well, that was my fault not theirs. They honored or reservation over an entire year later, and upgraded our room. Will definitely check them first when we return.
But we all had great time with our family.
Kitchen, dinning, and family room floors also need proper cleaning.
