Gorgeous drive. Multiple scenic overlooks. Many opportunities for hikes throughout park. Several waterfalls accessible through a day hike. Encourage fill-up before entering as there are no gas stations on drive although you can exit drive in 3 places. Encourage reservations for inpark hotel accommodations.
Perfect destination for a road trip. I came here during the fall and was stunned by the scenery. You can't go wrong with this. Highly recommended.

Beautiful scenic views. Slow ride down the parkway for maximum pleasure and views.
Some nice places to stop along the way. Some places seem overgrown for the view but get out of the car and walk around and you might some interesting photo ops.
